 Coach Gaucho is the new leader of the Brazilian team, ranked first in the World League Brazil will arrive at the Grand Prix in Ramle as the top team in the World League and hopes to maintain that position after the most important tournament on the WL calendar.

A new name will lead the Seleção: the 72-year-old Gaucho, who previously coached Vasco da Gama very successfully as well as the Qatari national team. He will face coach Oved Kraus in the first game of the Grand Prix on September 8th. "We consider Israel a strong competitor, and their impressive performances suggest that they are a well-coached team," claims Gaucho, who remains confident in his team's chances: "We are Brazil. We had a good preparation, and if we showcase our qualities, we will win."

Brazil has the most impressive squad in the World League so far and coach Gaucho remark his favorites: "Beto, Nenem and Frambach are great soccer players, with them and the other qualities that we have, the sky is the limit".
